AHA Foundation The AHA Foundation is the leading organization working to end honor violence that shames, hurts or kills thousands of women and girls in the U. The AHA Foundation's work is built on the belief that their is no culture, tradition or religion that justifies violence against women and girls. Relationship abuse is the use of intimidation and/or force by one person to maintain power over another.It can include any form of verbal, emotional, mental, physical spiritual and/or sexual abuse or violence, and can happen in all types of relationships.Our hotline is confidential and can be called 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer individualized safety planning based on our belief that women are the experts in their own lives.We support what women feel is right for them, whether they are in, leaving or have left an abusive relationship.

We listened to heart-wrenching stories of violence, terror and survival.

Our mission is to facilitate the personal, academic, and spiritual success of women at BYU by empowering them through education and connecting them with resources to help them excel as individuals, build thriving families, and strengthen their communities.

On-campus Campus Advocacy, Resources, & Education (CARE) (831) 502-CARE (2273), [email protected] CARE advocates are available for appointments from 9am-5pm, M-F.

They provide services for students, staff and faculty.

They also offer violence prevention education workshops and training.
